Mum needed care at very short notice, due to a recent illness that had set her on a downward spiral. After reading the amazing reviews we spoke to the Administrator. She was so helpful, warm and welcoming that we didn't hesitate to choose Nazareth Lodge for mum. The home does not have any of the typical odours, sometimes associated with care homes, it is spotless, the food is fresh, homemade and has certainly enticed mum into eating again. The staff are so caring, respectful and welcoming to residents and family. Mum is enjoying all the interaction and the trips out. It is so nice to see her bright and engaged again after such a short period of time. A weekly newsletter is sent to the relatives, which is so thoughtful, it makes us feel part of the home. We truly are blessed to have found the best care home in Dorset for our mum. Thank you Nazareth Lodge.
Mum moved into Nazareth Lodge on 1st March 2022. Both she and I were so relieved to find such wonderfully caring staff there. In fact, we have been exceedingly impressed by the friendly, caring and professional attitude, which extends throughout the whole team of personnel working there, towards the residents and their relatives as well as amongst each other.
Mum is now 102 years old and needs a high level of care, and she has been consistently afforded respect and kindness along with an understanding of increasing the care as her condition progresses, physically and mentally. She very quickly “adopted “ the staff as her own family, and I am so grateful to them all for the unconditional love and care they have shown my mother and also to me.
Care Chef 2014 award - the judges chose Suzie because she demonstrated a clear passion for flavours in every course of her meal. They felt her dishes were an honest reflection of the expertise currently enjoyed by the care sector

As a retired District Nurse of some years experience I was encouraged to discover such a well run home as Nazareth Lodge when we moved to the area some years ago.

The last few weeks have been, to say the least, a bit of a roller coaster for my mother in law. For this period to end in the haven of Nazareth Lodge has seen our prayers answered and we could not be more grateful. Thank You.
My father is being very well cared for and we have absolutely no cause for any complaint. The staff are wonderfully caring, patient and understanding. They always have time for each individual resident and for relatives, always ensuring that we, as visitors, are well looked after and are made to feel welcome. We have had a lovely time at Nazareth Lodge Lunch Club on Friday 31st January. The meal was cooked lovely and we had seconds of the Scampi. The sponge pudding was very light and soaked in custard went down a treat. Thank you and we will be back next month.

My mother has been a resident at Nazareth lodge for several years. Whenever I visit my mother always looks comfortable and loved. The staff are welcoming and friendly. There is always a happy atmosphere staff getting on well together, lots of chat with the residents and fun imaginative entertainment. Nazareth lodge is an exceptional place.
Overall Experience
I have been visiting my cousin for a few months now and am very happy to see the level of care has been extremely high all that time. There have been many improvements to the home in the last few months which only make it a better place to live and visit.
