I have been visiting my cousin for a few months now and am very happy to see the level of care has been extremely high all that time. There have been many improvements to the home in the last few months which only make it a better place to live and visit.
Nazareth Lodge prides itself on the emphasis placed in keeping and training its own staff and this shows in the quality of service and attitude of the staff towards residents and visitors.
My mother has lived at Nazareth Lodge for a year now and throughout that period she has received excellent care. The staff are kind and considerate the atmosphere is cosy and homely with plenty of social engagement and activities on offer and a beautiful garden to enjoy.
Good staff, well managed.
Not too big and as a result, the staff can work well with the residents.
My father is being very well cared for and we have absolutely no cause for any complaint. The staff are wonderfully caring, patient and understanding. They always have time for each individual resident and for relatives, always ensuring that we, as visitors, are well looked after and are made to feel welcome. Would have no problem in recommending the home to others. Thank you, Nazareth Lodge, you deserve your CQC Outstanding recognition.
There is a lot of laughter there
Thank you for the lovely meal I had during my first visit to Nazareth Friday Lunch Club this week. I enjoyed the meal and pudding, glass of wine and lovely friendly atmosphere at the home. It was much appreciated and i will be returning next month. Thanks for inviting me.
Thank you so much for the love, support and care you have given both to DF and us his family in the last two weeks and making David's time with you comfortable and dignified, particularly in his last moments.
I have to thank you especially for the care and support you all gave my father in his last few days. I have related stories to friends with elderly parents that your night staff for instance were singing with him during the long hours of darkness. They couldn't believe it.
My mother is in her nineties and has spent more than four years at Nazareth Lodge, but being completely bedbound is sadly unable to take part in any of the activities and outings enjoyed by the more mobile residents.
As she is confined to her room, her family naturally has concerns about her morale; but we are very reassured by the unfailing kindness shown to her by every one of the staff: not just the carers, but the administrator, the cook - and even the cleaners and the maintenance man are always cheerful and chatty. Nazareth Lodge is a happy place: there is a lot of laughter here.
We felt that the judgement of Nazareth Lodge staff regarding our mother's health was trusted and appointments were readily arranged when required resulting in some of the best medical attention she ever received outside a hospital
We have had a lovely time at Nazareth Lodge Lunch Club on Friday 31st January. The meal was cooked lovely and we had seconds of the Scampi. The sponge pudding was very light and soaked in custard went down a treat. Thank you and we will be back next month.
I would like to thank you and everyone at Nazareth Lodge for the care you took of my cousin. It was so reassuring to know she was in safe hands. Thank you and your staff also who came to her service last Friday. It meant a lot.

Mum moved into Nazareth Lodge on 1st March 2022. Both she and I were so relieved to find such wonderfully caring staff there. In fact, we have been exceedingly impressed by the friendly, caring and professional attitude, which extends throughout the whole team of personnel working there, towards the residents and their relatives as well as amongst each other.
Mum is now 102 years old and needs a high level of care, and she has been consistently afforded respect and kindness along with an understanding of increasing the care as her condition progresses, physically and mentally. She very quickly “adopted “ the staff as her own family, and I am so grateful to them all for the unconditional love and care they have shown my mother and also to me.
