Staff made it easy for us to visit and we always felt sure our mother was being well looked after with excellent food, impeccable hygiene and careful thought given to every aspect of what would be best for her individually.

My mother has been in the care of the Nazareth Lodge staff since November 2025. My siblings and I have had and are having an extremely positive experience for our mother. All members of staff are always cheerful professional and accommodating. My mother has been cared for beautifully from the day she arrived.

I have been visiting my cousin for a few months now and am very happy to see the level of care has been extremely high all that time. There have been many improvements to the home in the last few months which only make it a better place to live and visit.
My mother has been in Nazareth Lodge for almost four years and in that time we've had nothing but praise for the home. It really is a home and a very happy one, very well managed with friendly respectful staff for whom nothing is too much. Requests, comments, issues if any arise are dealt with swiftly and efficiently. My mother is well looked after in every respect and I look forward to seeing the staff when I visit. I left a review here three years ago and since then they have had to cope with all the complexities Covid threw at them. They handled everything so well, keeping us fully informed of all developments and managing to keep Covid out for a very long time. Nazareth Lodge really is an exceptional home. My mother could not be in a better place.

They always have time for each individual resident and for relatives, always ensuring that we, as visitors, are well looked after and are made to feel welcome. My husband is already a resident and I have spent two weeks in respite care. I have been wonderfully cared for and feel I have recovered very quickly. I cannot fault the staff, who are so caring and gentle and always cheerful. The food is lovely, well cooked and presented. There are plenty of activities organised and outings arranged for mobile residents. This is an excellent care home and its awards are well deserved.
Nazareth Lodge is a truly excellent care home. Unfortunately, my wife's condition of dementia is deteriorating and when she is away from her home surrounding and from my fulltime care, she displays signs of unhappiness.
I know that everything possible was done to make my wife's stay as comfortable as it could be. I look forward to another visit to Nazareth Lodge in the future.

Deciding where my mother should live after our father died was one of the most difficult decisions we had to make. As a family we looked at many homes and were very impressed when we got to Nazareth Lodge with is friendly and professional staff from senior managers to the carers. The carers at Nazareth Lodge are very special individuals, picked for their kindness and empathy.
The residents at Nazareth Lodge are all treated as individuals and can do as much or as little as they wish.
Mum moved into Nazareth Lodge on 1st March 2022. Both she and I were so relieved to find such wonderfully caring staff there. In fact, we have been exceedingly impressed by the friendly, caring and professional attitude, which extends throughout the whole team of personnel working there, towards the residents and their relatives as well as amongst each other.
Mum is now 102 years old and needs a high level of care, and she has been consistently afforded respect and kindness along with an understanding of increasing the care as her condition progresses, physically and mentally. She very quickly “adopted “ the staff as her own family, and I am so grateful to them all for the unconditional love and care they have shown my mother and also to me.
When I walk into Nazareth Lodge and see the residents potting up hyacinths, up to their elbows in compost, it is indeed a joy to behold
