Nazareth Lodge is a truly excellent care home. Unfortunately, my wife's condition of dementia is deteriorating and when she is away from her home surrounding and from my fulltime care, she displays signs of unhappiness.
I know that everything possible was done to make my wife's stay as comfortable as it could be. I look forward to another visit to Nazareth Lodge in the future.
Social occasions at Nazareth Lodge were a treat and showed us just how everyone worked together cheerfully to provide the happiest possible environment.
My mother is in her nineties and has spent more than four years at Nazareth Lodge, but being completely bedbound is sadly unable to take part in any of the activities and outings enjoyed by the more mobile residents.
As she is confined to her room, her family naturally has concerns about her morale; but we are very reassured by the unfailing kindness shown to her by every one of the staff: not just the carers, but the administrator, the cook - and even the cleaners and the maintenance man are always cheerful and chatty. Nazareth Lodge is a happy place: there is a lot of laughter here.
When we first visited it seemed more like arriving at a small hotel or private house with the warmth of the welcome and reassurance this provided
My mother has lived at Nazareth Lodge for a year now and throughout that period she has received excellent care. The staff are kind and considerate the atmosphere is cosy and homely with plenty of social engagement and activities on offer and a beautiful garden to enjoy.
Nazareth Lodge was calm, clean, warm and homely and meeting the Management and staff reinforced my feeling I was doing the right thing by introducing Mum to this potential new home to look after her needs
Staff made it easy for us to visit and we always felt sure our mother was being well looked after with excellent food, impeccable hygiene and careful thought given to every aspect of what would be best for her individually.

My husband is already a resident and I have spent two weeks in respite care. I have been wonderfully cared for and feel I have recovered very quickly. I cannot fault the staff, who are so caring and gentle and always cheerful. The food is lovely, well cooked and presented. There are plenty of activities organised and outings arranged for mobile residents. This is an excellent care home and its awards are well deserved.
To know that mum spent her last few days/weeks surrounded by your care and kindness, as well as professionalism, gives me a huge sense of relief and peace. Thank you for everything.

My father is being very well cared for and we have absolutely no cause for any complaint. The staff are wonderfully caring, patient and understanding. They always have time for each individual resident and for relatives, always ensuring that we, as visitors, are well looked after and are made to feel welcome. We felt that the judgement of Nazareth Lodge staff regarding our mother's health was trusted and appointments were readily arranged when required resulting in some of the best medical attention she ever received outside a hospital
We have had a lovely time at Nazareth Lodge Lunch Club on Friday 31st January. The meal was cooked lovely and we had seconds of the Scampi. The sponge pudding was very light and soaked in custard went down a treat. Thank you and we will be back next month.
