My mother has been a resident at Nazareth lodge for several years. Whenever I visit my mother always looks comfortable and loved. The staff are welcoming and friendly. There is always a happy atmosphere staff getting on well together, lots of chat with the residents and fun imaginative entertainment. Nazareth lodge is an exceptional place.

My husband is already a resident and I have spent two weeks in respite care. I have been wonderfully cared for and feel I have recovered very quickly. I cannot fault the staff, who are so caring and gentle and always cheerful. The food is lovely, well cooked and presented. There are plenty of activities organised and outings arranged for mobile residents. This is an excellent care home and its awards are well deserved.
My mother is extremely happy here, she has been resident for 9 months. She has very mild dementia and receives excellent care. The food is first class and she enjoys whatever activity is provided. The staff are always inclusive and welcoming at any time of day.
My mother is in her nineties and has spent more than four years at Nazareth Lodge, but being completely bedbound is sadly unable to take part in any of the activities and outings enjoyed by the more mobile residents.
As she is confined to her room, her family naturally has concerns about her morale; but we are very reassured by the unfailing kindness shown to her by every one of the staff: not just the carers, but the administrator, the cook - and even the cleaners and the maintenance man are always cheerful and chatty. Nazareth Lodge is a happy place: there is a lot of laughter here.
Thank you so much for a very pleasant Cheese and Wine evening yesterday. We regularly see some of the residents, but it was nice to meet other relatives and friends. We are sure our Aunt appreciated us coming, and of course, joining in with the cheese and wine tasting!
I have to thank you especially for the care and support you all gave my father in his last few days. I have related stories to friends with elderly parents that your night staff for instance were singing with him during the long hours of darkness. They couldn't believe it.
I would like to pay tribute to all your colleagues who devoted time and kindness in meeting Dad's needs and making him feel at home and always comfortable.

The last few weeks have been, to say the least, a bit of a roller coaster for my mother in law. For this period to end in the haven of Nazareth Lodge has seen our prayers answered and we could not be more grateful. Thank You.

They always have time for each individual resident and for relatives, always ensuring that we, as visitors, are well looked after and are made to feel welcome. As a family we all know that everything after my father's death was handled brilliantly even down to a 'guard of honour' as his body left Nazareth Lodge.
My mother has been in Nazareth Lodge for almost four years and in that time we've had nothing but praise for the home. It really is a home and a very happy one, very well managed with friendly respectful staff for whom nothing is too much. Requests, comments, issues if any arise are dealt with swiftly and efficiently. My mother is well looked after in every respect and I look forward to seeing the staff when I visit. I left a review here three years ago and since then they have had to cope with all the complexities Covid threw at them. They handled everything so well, keeping us fully informed of all developments and managing to keep Covid out for a very long time. Nazareth Lodge really is an exceptional home. My mother could not be in a better place.
As a retired District Nurse of some years experience I was encouraged to discover such a well run home as Nazareth Lodge when we moved to the area some years ago.
I am kept informed of my mother's health and what she has been doing and when I visit I always feel welcome and as cared for as her. It is a joy to go to Nazareth Lodge which makes a huge difference to us all. As a family, we are extremely happy with the care and attention my mother gets and it is wonderful that she is very content and we know she is safe and being well looked after.
