Mum needed care at very short notice, due to a recent illness that had set her on a downward spiral. After reading the amazing reviews we spoke to the Administrator. She was so helpful, warm and welcoming that we didn't hesitate to choose Nazareth Lodge for mum. The home does not have any of the typical odours, sometimes associated with care homes, it is spotless, the food is fresh, homemade and has certainly enticed mum into eating again. The staff are so caring, respectful and welcoming to residents and family. Mum is enjoying all the interaction and the trips out. It is so nice to see her bright and engaged again after such a short period of time. A weekly newsletter is sent to the relatives, which is so thoughtful, it makes us feel part of the home. We truly are blessed to have found the best care home in Dorset for our mum. Thank you Nazareth Lodge.
I have spoken with my brother and sister and it goes almost without saying that we are extremely grateful to all the staff at Nazareth Lodge for the way in which they looked after our mother. We are not surprised by the award of an outstanding classification and no doubt a lot was due to the standard of care provided by the staff.
My mother has been in Nazareth Lodge for almost four years and in that time we've had nothing but praise for the home. It really is a home and a very happy one, very well managed with friendly respectful staff for whom nothing is too much. Requests, comments, issues if any arise are dealt with swiftly and efficiently. My mother is well looked after in every respect and I look forward to seeing the staff when I visit. I left a review here three years ago and since then they have had to cope with all the complexities Covid threw at them. They handled everything so well, keeping us fully informed of all developments and managing to keep Covid out for a very long time. Nazareth Lodge really is an exceptional home. My mother could not be in a better place.
My mother has lived at Nazareth Lodge for a year now and throughout that period she has received excellent care. The staff are kind and considerate the atmosphere is cosy and homely with plenty of social engagement and activities on offer and a beautiful garden to enjoy.

Our friend has been a resident at Nazareth Lodge for over 2 years. We visit her regularly. During that time, we have been totally satisfied with the level of care she has received. The staff are very attentive and the food is good. Her room is modern and cleaned regularly. She is very contented and feels at home. Thank you so much for a very pleasant Cheese and Wine evening yesterday. We regularly see some of the residents, but it was nice to meet other relatives and friends. We are sure our Aunt appreciated us coming, and of course, joining in with the cheese and wine tasting!
Social occasions at Nazareth Lodge were a treat and showed us just how everyone worked together cheerfully to provide the happiest possible environment.

My husband is already a resident and I have spent two weeks in respite care. I have been wonderfully cared for and feel I have recovered very quickly. I cannot fault the staff, who are so caring and gentle and always cheerful. The food is lovely, well cooked and presented. There are plenty of activities organised and outings arranged for mobile residents. This is an excellent care home and its awards are well deserved.
