Lent Lunch on 27 March 2019

Lent Lunch on 27 March 2019

On 27th March Nazareth Lodge will be opening its doors to the congregation of St Mary's Church for it's annual Lent Lunch.

Our chef will, in true Lent tradition, prepare soup and rolls for the residents, staff, families and congregation to celebrate lunch together.  In addition, she will make a vat of soup to be taken to the church hall for the rest of the community to enjoy.

Nazareth Lodge is proud to be part of the local community and this is one example of how the home functions and interacts with the town and the church.

If you would like more details or would like to join us please contact the home directly using the contact sheet on this website.

Testimonials

Deciding where my mother should live after our father died was one of the most difficult decisions we had to make. As a family we looked at many homes and were very impressed when we got to Nazareth Lodge with is friendly and professional staff from senior managers to the carers. The carers at Nazareth Lodge are very special individuals, picked for their kindness and empathy.
The residents at Nazareth Lodge are all treated as individuals and can do as much or as little as they wish.

Testimonials

I am kept informed of my mother's health and what she has been doing and when I visit I always feel welcome and as cared for as her. It is a joy to go to Nazareth Lodge which makes a huge difference to us all. As a family, we are extremely happy with the care and attention my mother gets and it is wonderful that she is very content and we know she is safe and being well looked after.

Testimonials

I have to thank you especially for the care and support you all gave my father in his last few days. I have related stories to friends with elderly parents that your night staff for instance were singing with him during the long hours of darkness. They couldn't believe it.

Testimonials

She enjoyed many of the activities organised in the home and I smile at the memory of her being asked to hold back to allow others to answer some questions for the crossword etc!

Always my husband has received excellent care by cheerful, caring staff.
My needs have always been considered and a caring person has always been there when I have needed one.
Nobody wants to admit they cannot care for a loved one.
We are so lucky to have Nazareth Lodge who takes over so well.
Thank you all.

Testimonials

The last few weeks have been, to say the least, a bit of a roller coaster for my mother in law. For this period to end in the haven of Nazareth Lodge has seen our prayers answered and we could not be more grateful. Thank You.

Testimonials

My husband is already a resident and I have spent two weeks in respite care. I have been wonderfully cared for and feel I have recovered very quickly. I cannot fault the staff, who are so caring and gentle and always cheerful. The food is lovely, well cooked and presented. There are plenty of activities organised and outings arranged for mobile residents. This is an excellent care home and its awards are well deserved.

Care Chef 2014 award - the judges chose Suzie because she demonstrated a clear passion for flavours in every course of her meal. They felt her dishes were an honest reflection of the expertise currently enjoyed by the care sector

Testimonials

A thank you would in no way suffice for the reassurance and peace that everyone helped to give to me and others during the eight months that RW was with you.
